Tactical Imagery Production System Overview

  • The tactical imagery production system, TIPS, is a highly mobile, rapidly deployable, self-contained tactical shelter system with imagery and reproduction capability to be utilized in forward operational areas. This system provides commanders with a multitude of imagery products that are utilized in planning, intelligence, enhancing situational awareness, shaping the battle space and influencing local populations and adversaries. The standalone system includes an onboard generator, environmental control system, Inmarsat, and a turn-key suite of electronics.
