In 1956 Wenzlau Engineering was founded by Bill Wenzlau, Sr., who set out to create an engineering focused company specializing in providing solutions for mobile ground equipment. In its early years, the company modified ice cream trucks (because of their insulation) to create mobile data vehicles for monitoring rocket launches. Over time we began building custom platforms, providing power, cooling equipment, and integrating complex electronic systems.

From the beginning, Wenzlau Engineering has engineered solutions to assure all of the products survived the shake, rattle, and roll encountered in mobile environments. Sixty years later, Bill Wenzlau, Jr. presides over the business his father created, and the business today remains true to the original focus and mission: engineering solutions for mobile applications.

The company has diversified from primarily serving defense-related products to becoming a leader in the manufacturing and supply of sophisticated power products, turn-key electronic equipment integration, and product logistics offerings.
